  • My package has not arrived yet? Where is it?
    Answer: We always ship all orders received before 12 noon (weekdays and public holidays) on the same day. If you have chosen free shipping, Postnord wants at least 2 working days to deliver. For example, if you place an order on a Friday after 12 noon, we will post your order on the following Monday. The earliest you can expect delivery will be on Wednesday. We understand that it feels like a long time, but unfortunately we can't speed up Postnord's delivery times. Choose fast delivery (REK for SEK 69 extra) if you want faster delivery. When choosing REK, you will receive a notification to the mobile number and e-mail you specified in your order. Download the Postnord app to track your shipment. REK will come to the nearest delivery point and you need to identify yourself when picking up. If your delivery has not arrived within 5 working days, you can contact us at customer service: info@indiapiercing.se

FAQ = Regarding your piercing

  • I got an irritation bump on the skin during my piercing. What do I do?
    Answer: It is not uncommon for irritation bumps to occur. To get rid of the bulge, it is important not to touch your piercing with your fingers, as this prevents healing. We have lots of bacteria on our hands and fingers. Spray with India's disinfectant spray alternative sodium chloride morning and evening. Also try India's Tea Tree Oil or Coconut Oil in combination with our disinfectant spray. Tea Tree oil should be tested on another area of skin before applying it to the piercing. Use only at bedtime and for a maximum of 14 days. Wash off in the morning.
  • I've got an infection in my piercing. What do I do?
    Answer: If any blood comes out of your piercing, in connection with a certain redness, an infection may have occurred. Then you should contact us in the shop / studio for a check. If you have a long distance to the nearest studio, do the following. Clean with India's disinfectant spray 3 times a day. Avoid touching the piercing with your fingers. Bathing the piercing area in homemade salt can be a good idea.
  • My skin is swollen around my piercing. What do I do?
    Answer: Some redness and swelling is common in a freshly made piercing. Occasionally, swelling may occur around your piercing long after the piercing is done. Weakened immune system and infections in the body affect our piercings. If you are worried, you can always turn to the nearest studio for a check-up. Sometimes it is enough to insert a longer rod. In case of severe swelling, you should seek care at a health center as soon as possible.
  • I've lost the jewelry. What do I do?
    Answer: If you have lost your jewelery, we recommend that you insert something as soon as possible. For example, an ordinary earring. Otherwise there is a risk that the hole will close again. Come to us and we will help you insert a new piece of jewelery. Sometimes you may need to stretch the hole if it has started to contract.
  • How fast can a piercing heal when the jewelery is removed?
    Answer: When removing jewelry, it can take from 30 minutes up to 2 hours for a piercing to heal. This depends on how well your body is healing. For some of us it can take a long time before it heals while for others it can go incredibly fast. Do not take a chance, but put on another piece of jewelery in the meantime until you have visited a piercing studio and received help. If the hole is completely healed, a new piercing needs to be done. If the hole has "just" contracted, it only needs to be stretched a little.
  • Can I take off the healing jewelry myself?
    Answer: Depending on the piercing in question, you may sometimes need to visit our studio for help removing the jewelry. If you have a labret or barbell, you can remove these on your own by holding one side and screwing on the other. On a labret you hold the plate and screw on the ball, while on a barbell you can unscrew which ball you want as it is removable from both sides. In order not to lose the jewelry, we usually screw on them extra hard. Then you can use latex gloves or with the help of a peang to be able to unscrew the ball more easily.
  • Can I get a ring right away?
    Answer: In order for your piercing to heal as well as possible, we have chosen to use rods as a healing jewel. Rings create friction which irritates the piercing and can cause various ailments. And that a ring can cause infection by spinning and introducing bacteria into the hole.
  • When can I change healing jewelry?
    Answer: The time varies a bit depending on the piercing in question. Piercings in the mouth such as tongue, smiley and web, can be changed after 4 weeks. Lip piercings about 4-6 weeks. Dermal Anchor at least 3 months. Other piercings in the ears, nipple, navel, septum, nasal wing, etc., we recommend that you wait at least 8 weeks. You can read more about healing times here
  • How painful is it to pierce yourself?
